During the school day, students enjoy 30 minutes of recess and 50 minutes of lunch for outdoor play. For some, this can feel like a long stretch of unstructured time, so we offer a variety of lunchtime clubs to support students socially and emotionally.

Clubs provide a great opportunity to explore interests, try new activities, or take a break from the busy playground. While clubs are facilitated by staff, students are welcome to start their own clubs. Student “instigators” can promote their club and request teacher support for supervision.

Some of the clubs that have been offered across lunchtimes include:

  • Library Club

  • Catch-Up Art

  • Board Games Club

  • Drawing Club

  • Indigenous Games

  • Mindfulness Club

  • Skipping Club
