From Puddles to Possibility: 2026 Yard Transformation
One year. One goal. One transformed schoolyard. Join our $100,000 fundraising mission to transform the heart of our school.
This year, we are transforming one of the most well‑used but worn‑out parts of our school grounds. The old patchwork asphalt—famous for its giant post‑rainfall puddle—is being removed and replaced with a safer, better‑drained surface.
Along the Wingrove Street boundary, a new garden will take shape, complete with native plantings, granite sand, and welcoming bench seating for students and families. Around the plane trees, permeable paving, curved seating, and fresh mulch will create a cooler, greener gathering space.
Beside the playground, new garden beds and a small timber bridge will form a beautiful rain‑fed landscape, using runoff from the upgraded asphalt to support thriving plants. And near the Fairfield Road building, a new timber decking seat will offer another inviting spot for students to connect, learn, and rest.
Together, these upgrades will create a more sustainable, more beautiful, and more enjoyable schoolyard for our whole community.
